Who can take the Diploma for Teachers and Trainers? The Diploma is ideal for anyone in a teaching or training role who wishes to develop and enhance his/her professional practice. It is not limited to one particular subject area or level of education and focuses instead on transferable skills and knowledge that can be used in any teaching or training context. How is the Diploma for Teachers and Trainers taught? All candidates will take part in the professional development activities organised by their Centre, to lead to the Diploma. Candidates must enter for the Diploma through The Nirmala Institute of Education. They will work with a 'toolkit' of resources, approaches and ideas which will be applied to their teaching, as the focus of the Diploma is professional practice. The Centre will have a tutor or mentor coordinating the programme. Cambridge provides resource materials to help the candidates.
